family man, 2000?

really brief b/c the plot is as predictable as it is unlikely.
2nd time watching it, and i don't know when or how i watched it before.
before 9/11 b/c the twin towers were easily visible.
makes me think of tm. not that either of "believed in us", but he may have thought he did more so. and i can see him "choosing" us with j, and their "accident".
old flames are like old tax returns - keep them in the filing cabinet for 3 years, and then let them go.
tea leoni - david duchovny is lucky... she has really expressive eyes, blonde - good with short hair and her sharp features, fullish figure; something kind of iffy about her teeth.
nicolas cage i still don't like. don't know how his receding hairline, monotone voice lands him such great opposites. he does a great job acting, just his physicalness doesn't seem to make it go as far.
fr one extreme to the other - wall street and super rich vs. bad taste and the worst of suburbia.
the kids were indeed adorable - annie and josh.
just too implausible, but the theme of this weekend.

13 going on 30, 2003?

again, another implausible plot; the sudden awakening in a different setting
spend a great deal of time figuring out what's going on, getting used to it;
and in this case - regretting wanting to grow up so fast in theh manner one did

- jennifer garner; fun to watch the hair and outfits - like sex and the city
- matt; again, an unlikely pair - how does he land such good-looking women?

happy ending - she chooses him; and they end up in a pink house?
