/muppets take manhattan

haven't seen this in a long time. last time during flicks at Stanford?
the gang is graduating from college(?!) and want to take their college musical to Broadway as a final hurrah. they go to nyc and get turned down a lot. so disperse, partly b/c they think kermit doesn't want to be their leader. kermit finds friends at an italian eatery. and eventually sells the play to a son of a producer. as he's going home to celebrate he gets run over and gets amnesia. eventually his friends find him, and they all put on "Manhattan Melodies," and it's a great hit.

it's nice to see kermie in action, with his sexy green legs (still don't get what he sees in miss piggie).
there's a bit about muppet babies in there, don't know if that was where the cartoon spun off? but haven't thought of that cartoon in a while.
sesame street gang were there at the wedding. as well as beaker, but he didn't have much of a role.

watched on netflix instaplay. by myself as @ in a foul mood.
